Frequently Asked Questions
| Will I receive a bill for monthly parking? |
Typically, bills (statements) are sent to our contract
parkers who park in parking ramps or garages. We do not always mail a
bill to our surface lot parkers, so be sure to ask the receptionist when
you set up your contract. Allied does not mail invoices. The statement
is your reminder to pay your rent. |
| Can I pay my bill with credit card? |
| Yes, we do accept credit card automatic payment at most
of our locations. |
| How much notice do I need to give in order to cancel my parking? |
| Check the parking agreement that you sign, however most
of our contracts require a 30 day written notice - from the first of the
month – to cancel. |
| How are the parking rates calculated? |
| Each parking location is slightly different, however for
locations that have a rate structure with 30 minute increments, you need
to keep in mind that once you cross over into the next rate segment you
are charged that rate. For example, lets say the rates are posted as such:
First half hour $3.00, each additional half hour $1.00. If you have stayed
on the lot for 31 minutes, you would owe $4.00. Typically the grace periods
run in the first rate segment and are for only 5 minutes or so, to allow
for a quick passenger drop off. Every facility is different so you should
inquire in advance. |
| What happens if I park Monday – Friday during the day, to attend a special event at the Metrodome? |
| The regular hourly rates posted at the location will typically
apply. Posted Twins, Event or Vikings rates assume an evening or weekend
game, unless otherwise specifically stated. |
| Are there special rates available if I work in the evening and start work after 3:30 pm? |
| Most of our locations offer special monthly rates if you work second or third shift. Call for specific information. Also, if you enter our downtown facilities after 5:00pm, discounted parking may be available. |
